Pantone Color Block at El Prado (The Meadow)

The historical story behind this beautiful site dates back to 1915 at the opening of the Panama Canal.

Alfred Robinson, president of the San Diego Floral Society, is credited for designing this botanical wonderland.

The lily pond in front of the building has been through many uses – including a swimming pool during war times.

Due to many changes in project managers, the original projected design looked very different from the end result.

Despite this, the Spanish-inspired structure has stood the test of time in its final beauty.

The El Prado background for the Pantone Color Block style the reps showcase perfectly brought it all together.

While the 2023 Pantone Color of the year is Viva Magenta 18-1750, the OneCollective.io photographers took inspiration for this style from the whole color block projection for the fall of 2023.

According to Pantone, the color fashion trend experts, the 2023 fall colors are the vibrant and bold yellows, oranges, greens, reds, and pinks.

Look for these colors displayed during the New York Fashion Week for 2023 Fall trends.

According to the WWD fashion reporter: “When you literally walk into a [projected] painting and become part of it, that vibrancy envelops you. That is having a huge effect. People not only want to be exposed to it and see the color more clearly, but it gets exposed [and] lodged in their brains,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute.

The large expanse of these colors compliments diverse skin tones and bring bold colors to the public that has been secluded behind doors during the pandemic.
