Little Havana at Miami’s Espanola Way

The flavor and spice of Cuba is evidenced in the open patios, whitewashed staircases and the light and airy backdrop of bohemian peach-colored facades of Espanola Way.

Outdoor restaurants, beach shops, and little, white-painted alley hideaways, reminiscent of French and Spanish Mediterranean villages, line the pedestrian-only street.

In May 2017, Espanola Way had a $2.5 million facelift to expedite its revitalization as a cultural center. Locals and tourists alike gather here to create art and celebrate the vibrancy of this 1920s artists’ community.

For the reps’ styling, we envisioned colorful and vibrant attire for these shots.

For the ladies, the style consists of bold floral prints, flare dresses with fitted waists, high slits, and ruffles.

Alternatively, a two-piece mermaid or fitted pencil skirt set with a fitted crop top created another great silhouette.

The reps paired their shoes appropriate for a street salsa, such as strappy sandals, hemp wedges or platform heels.

Other accessories included oversized sunglasses, large hoop earrings, a tropical flower or scarf for their hair, or a men’s fedora.

For the guy, a bold, large floral print or Caribbean Sea-colored button-down shirt paired with light-colored linen pants and a coordinating suit jacket fit this style perfectly.

Accessories that finished off the look fantastically included: shoes with tan, white, or brown loafers worn without socks; a fedora, a large gold or silver watch, and round sunglasses.
