Winter Beach Boho at Miami Beach Boardwalk

Winter Beach Boho on Ocean Drive

While the rest of the country had winter storm warnings and blizzards, Miami Beach boasted clear skies, high humidity, and low 90s.

One of the most popular areas on South Miami Beach, the art deco promenade of Ocean Drive hosted a relaxing area.

Latin music drifted through the air, local rollerbladers and bicyclists rode down Ocean Drive with ease, and tourists ambled between cafes, bars, and shops.

The grassy areas and shade trees, such as oak, ash, elm and sycamores, provided a respite from the sand and sun.

Near sunset, the sand dunes and grassy park supplied the perfect backdrop for our Winter Beach Bobo look.

The filtered light of sunset is a photographer’s dream, and for this monochrome-styled look it was the perfect time of day.

The reps’ cohesive look featured layers of coziness –all in light colors: sand, off-white, tan, pale sea green & blue.

The type of clothing was cozy: chunky knit sweaters, lace and flowing skirts and dresses, knit toeless leggings, bikini bottoms for the ladies and rolled linen pants for the guys.

Shoes were optional, but gladiator sandals or slip-on light-colored boots, like fuzzy winter/snow boots, worked well.

When they came together, the group was the epitome of a clothing designer’s collection of Prêt-à-Porter, or a high-end luxury garment, purchased off the rack and ready to wear.
